After my last post on shoes a few people have asked me where they can find similar shoes. Well, my friend recommended an amazing website that I thought I'd share!


The website:  http://www.chockersshoes.co.uk/ and has an array of gorgeous shoes! Regarding the quality of the shoes my  friend who recommended the site to me has two pairs of shoes from there and they are of a good quality. Of course being cheap, the quality is not up to designer standard however they still of a good quality.

Shoes Galore!

I have been summer shoe shopping, here are my new shooooes!

 Simple black suede loafers with sliver spikes. These were from a boutique in London and were 30 pounds.

 Neon orange patent pumps, from Primark and only 12 pounds! Can't wait to wear these with a bright neon nails and lips.

 Finally, I own a pair of Litas. I went for the plain black leather as they are the most versatile and classic. I've literally wanted these since they first came out and now at last, I have a pair! 

 Okay ,so these aren't real JC's however they are so much cheaper! They were also from a boutique in London however there are fakes also available on Ebay if you're interested.  

Like Litas I have been lusting over these for ages! I fell in love with them when I watched Grav3yardgirl's shoe un-boxing of the Nightwalks back in October! The shoe is simply a take on the design and not a 'fake' or 'copy' and at only 50 pounds, so much cheaper than  JC's, so I couldn't resist. They're so gorgeous and comfortable!

Next on my shoe wishlist are:

Where have I been: Olympic project!

This week I have been working on a project (hence the lack of blogging) with the Ready, Steady, Go team on a very special Olympic project up in London. We are aiming to capture the Olympic spirit in London before the Olympics start. Next year we are possibly going to Barbados as part of a bigger project so this is a really exciting opportunity i'm lucky to be part of that I wanted to share with you!

OOTD| Sunny to rainy!

The weather has been AWFUL in England since I arrived (missing the desert so much!) One minute it will be sunny and the next it will be poring with rain. This makes it very hard to decide what to wear! I have taken to carrying leggings around with me just incase of rain. I decided to take pictures of today's outfit change as it may be helpful for any of you suffering in the rain! 

Firstly the summery style outfit:

And then of course, it started to rain. Here is my second outfit of the day!

Top (under jacket): Same as before

Jacket: River Island

Boots: Docs

I basically just put on leggings and throw on the jacket, oh and of course changed into the very practical docs!

Modelco: FibreLash, brush on false lashes!

False eyelashes in a bottle? Yes please! Was my first reaction upon hearing about the Modelco Fibrelash mascara. Not only saving the hassle of glueing lashes on but also saving money as lashes can get expensive after awhile Fibrelash sounds perfect. I have been trying out the product for a few days and can say I do like it. Coming with tubes in the set, one to black extending mascara and another with tiny white fibres in to extend the lashes. As seen below:

Here are some pictures of how to apply and the finished look: (Sorry for the gross eye pictures!)

BEFORE: NO MAKEUP

 1. Apply a one coat of the Extension Mascara as a base

 2. Apply one coat of the brush on Lash fibres. (Be careful not to get any in your eye)

 AFTER: The final product! Apply two coats of Extension Mascara again moving the brush side to side to cover the lash fibres.

I took a picture of my normal mascara so you can see the difference, this is Rimmel's Glam eyes lash flirt.

The lashes are said to be both tear and smudge proof which is great for the summer season as  the weather is hot. I would say that the mascara did lengthen my lashes and darken them more than my regular mascara. The lashes would be great for festival as you don't want to be wearing    false eyelashes but want to look fab. 

The only downside to the product is that it retails at $50 US dollars or 35 UK pounds, which is pretty pricey for a mascara. However if you are a falsie addict then you would of of course be saving money!

OOTD| 90's kid!

It was another grey day in London so I decided to go for a more playful look today. I love this jumper so much as I love myself a bit of Disney haha! I also have the Beauty and the Beast version. With the peter pan collar and socks the outfit is definitely a little bit school girl, but I like it. I'm aware this isn't everyone's cup of tea but I think the blast back to the 90's on a grey day is fun! Then I went a little crazy trying out effects on my camera, loving the 'Polaroid' feel!

Fia's Fashion Fix, 2!

I won!!

 A couple of months ago I was invited down to the CeeCode office where I along with other bloggers in Dubai designed a bag. The designs were put on Facebook and the bag with the most likes was to be made and sold in the next collection. I'm pleased to announce I won! Thank you to everyone who voted, I'm over the moon! London calling!

Yesterday I arrived in London for the summer. I'm staying here until September however I shall be blogging all summer long! Look out for some British fashion posts as well as the usual.The weather is mild to say the least but it's quite nice to be wear my jumpers and docs without being hot. I hope you are all having an amazing summer so far!
