The Fashion Network: A/W collections launch!

On Wednesday I went to the Westin hotel to check out A/W collections by the Fashion Network designers such as Rock on by Lauren, O-Concept and Lya Lya.
 O-Concept rings!

 Rock-on by Lauren Noir collection!
I think I may need to get my hands on a few of these bracelets this Fall, I think they'd go perfectly with my Docs!

Lya Lya bags! Fell in love with these bags, amazing!
If you're hopping on the stud trend this fall (which I suggest you do!) then you NEED a Lya Lya bag in your life. Not only bang on trend and different but such high quality and beautifully made. Like her Facebook page here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Lya-Lya/284078651646163

OOTD| Lace VS. studs

On Wednesday I  went down to the Westin hotel to have a look at the A/W collections of the brands in the Fashion Network (blog post coming next) here's what I wore!
My top has a studded collar and my shoes are my studded loafers. I paired these with a vintage lace skirt that I've had for years and never worn! Finally for accessories I wore my Swarwoski pendant necklace, a Rock on by Lauren pink skull , studded black, pink disco ball bracelet. I'm still being a festival *rude word* by leaving my Reading wrist band on hehe, giving it a few more weeks ;)

OOTN| Pixie dust sparkles!

Here's the outfit I wore to tonight's Swarovski Crystal fashion show. I decided to wear my sequin leotard with my pleated black skirt from Mango to match the glitzy theme of the event! I also wore my Nighwalk style wedges and a McQueen style clutch.
Few too many pics, ah well! Thanks for reading

Swarovski Fashion Show: Kingdom of Jewels!

This evening I attended the Swarovski fashion show at Mall of the Emirates in aid of their new shop opening and to launch their new collection. The pieces were breathtakingly stunning, sparkling under the lights of the runway. Every single item was to die for! Unfortunately I have left my usual camera in England and my back up decided not to charge so I resorted to using an I-pad, better than nothing I guess! However it means the pictures do not do any justice to the real thing, head down to MOE and have a browse around the new store to see how gorg everything really is!
I took a quick video of the show, again not the best quality but you get the idea ;)
At the end of the event the lovely PR girls were nice enough to gift me a Swarovski necklace! I was blown away, it's beautiful! Next time you are in MOE check out the new store and treat yourself to something glitzy for the Autumn!
Stay tuned for my post on what I wore tonight next!
Thank you so much for the amazing event Swarovski!

Dubai: Tuesday night events!

I landed back in Dubai at 8am on Tuesday morning :D That evening I attended two events taking along two of my friends as I hadn't seen them all summer, it was so nice to be able to catch up with them and attend events at the same time!
Firstly we attended The pop-up shop "My Ex Wardrobe" at Rivington Grill. Along with people selling their old clothes, Glam Box ME and several other companies had stalls in the bar. Although the bar was absolutely packed the atmosphere was really relaxed and everyone was enjoying a few cocktails! I didn't manage to get too many pictures as it was pretty dimly lit and packed full of shoppers!

 Chocolate cake!
After spending some time catching up and browsing in the Grill we headed over to Valley Dez in Sunset mall to the Bahibak Ya Libnan meet the designers event. It was very fun and stuck to the theme, we were also treated to slushy drinks and snacks which were yummy! It was also so nice to see a selection of my fellow bloggers that I haven't seen since I left Dubai two months ago!

I tried on a gorgeous dress by the designer Nadine Zeni:
Having the dress pinned as it was a little too big!

Nadine is definitely one of my new favourite Dubai designers along with CeeCode and Fozza. She has a real talent and the dresses aren't just of the usual highstreet look. Like her on Facebook here: http://www.facebook.com/NadineZeni!
