Jeffrey Campbell: Roller flatform shoes!

Brand new wheels by Jeffrey Campbell. Yes, really. And they’re retractable.

Make shopping more efficient with these roller flatform shoes! I'm not sure whether these shoes are madness or genius! I can hardly imagine women across the world roller skating around shopping malls, but what an original idea! I commend Jeff Campbell as usual for his originality and really want to try a pair on. No doubt these will be a nightmare to get hold of, however they are in stock at the moment on  http://www.nastygal.com/ so check them out!
What do you think of these, hit or miss?

Random questions!

I have recently been asked to answer some questions about myself, as well as the ones I have been asked to answer I thought I may as well do the 13 personal questions tag! Hope you enjoy!

1. What do you order at Starbucks?
An English breakfast tea, how boring.

2. What's one thing in your closet that you cannot live without?
This is so hard, with living in Dubai I'd probably go with jeans as they are 'appropriate' and can be dressed up or down easily.

3. What's one thing that most people probably wouldn't know about you?
That I love literature and am really interested in Politics and History. I'm sure quite a few people reading this will know that though of course!

4. Name one thing that you want to do before you die
I think I'd like to live in more than three countries because the experience of living Dubai has been absolutely amazing and I now have an appetite for travel and new beginnings!

5. What's one food that you cannot live without?
BURGER KING

6. What quote/phrase do you live your life by?
I wouldn't say I live by a particular quote, however there is one quote that I do particularly like. Which is from the book The Perks of being a Wallflower: "we accept the love we think we deserve."

7. What do you like and dislike about the fashion and beauty community?
I love the fact that all the bloggers in Dubai get to see each other often at events and are all supportive of each other. I don't really know what I dislike to be honest, my experience so far has been so positive and rewarding!

8. What's your number one most listened to song on iTunes?
I've actually deleted my '25 most played' playlist so I don't know! As a guess I'd say at the moment it would be Summertime Sadness by Lana Del Rey.

9. What kind of style would you define yourself as having?
My style changes all the time so I have no idea! Perhaps something with the word 'edgy' included?

10. Favorite number
Weird question! Probably number 20.

11. Two hobbies
-Figure skating
-Ballet

12. Two pet peeves
This is an easy one for me haha:
When you are having a conversation with someone and they only talk about themselves!
Closed minded people

13. Guilty Pleasure
Definitely Burger King, oh and Fifty Shades of Grey!

I've also been asked three questions on my Facebook page:
1. Do you have a job?
-No I don't, living in Dubai to have a job you have to have a working visa which of course as I'm a student I do not have one.
2. Where do you get the money to buy clothes from?
-I'm lucky enough to have a very generous Mum who does in fact buy me a lot of what I desire. However not to a ridiculous extent I don't have a massive wardrobe filled with designer clothes! I am very grateful for everything I have and I do owe everything to my Mum.
3.Do you want to be a model?
Not as a full time job no, and by no means am I good enough to! As a hobby and for some extra money though if I was lucky enough I would indeed love to. We shall have to see how next year pans out, fingers crossed!

OOTN| A Midsummer Night's Dream

Dress: River Island
Shoes: Nightwalk style wedges
I love the elegance of this dress and the way it floats so effortlessly in the wind. As the dress is so whimsical and fairy like I added some 'edge' with my Nightwalk style wedges. They make the outfit more me and adds a more 'high fashion' spin on the dress.

Check out: Chocker's Shoes.co.uk!

After my last post on shoes a few people have asked me where they can find similar shoes. Well, my friend recommended an amazing website that I thought I'd share!

The website:  http://www.chockersshoes.co.uk/ and has an array of gorgeous shoes! Regarding the quality of the shoes my  friend who recommended the site to me has two pairs of shoes from there and they are of a good quality. Of course being cheap, the quality is not up to designer standard however they still of a good quality.

Here are a selection of my favourite shoes from the site:

Happy shoe shopping!

Shoes Galore!

I have been summer shoe shopping, here are my new shooooes!
Simple black suede loafers with sliver spikes. These were from a boutique in London and were 30 pounds.

Neon orange patent pumps, from Primark and only 12 pounds! Can't wait to wear these with a bright neon nails and lips.

Finally, I own a pair of Litas. I went for the plain black leather as they are the most versatile and classic. I've literally wanted these since they first came out and now at last, I have a pair!

Okay ,so these aren't real JC's however they are so much cheaper! They were also from a boutique in London however there are fakes also available on Ebay if you're interested.
Like Litas I have been lusting over these for ages! I fell in love with them when I watched Grav3yardgirl's shoe un-boxing of the Nightwalks back in October! The shoe is simply a take on the design and not a 'fake' or 'copy' and at only 50 pounds, so much cheaper than  JC's, so I couldn't resist. They're so gorgeous and comfortable!
Next on my shoe wishlist are:
-White patent DM's
-Jeffery Campbell Damsels
-UNIF Hellraisers

We are aiming to capture the Olympic spirit in London before the Olympics start. Next year we are possibly going to Barbados as part of a bigger project so this is a really exciting opportunity i'm lucky to be part of that I wanted to share with you!
Here are some pictures of what we've been doing so far and I will do another post with our final video:

I have a few exciting blogposts coming up this week that are to do with fashion so stay tuned!

OOTD| Sunny to rainy!

The weather has been AWFUL in England since I arrived (missing the desert so much!) One minute it will be sunny and the next it will be poring with rain. This makes it very hard to decide what to wear! I have taken to carrying leggings around with me just incase of rain. I decided to take pictures of today's outfit change as it may be helpful for any of you suffering in the rain!
Firstly the summery style outfit:
 Top: Miss.Selfridge
Skirt: Forever 21
Wedges: Steve Madden
Sunglasses: Camden market
Necklace: Topshop
And then of course, it started to rain. Here is my second outfit of the day!

Top (under jacket): Same as before
Jacket: River Island
Boots: Docs
I basically just put on leggings and throw on the jacket, oh and of course changed into the very practical docs!
Thanks for reading, here's hoping for some sun soon!
